Support Group Meeting 17 June

The next AiA Support Group Meeting will take place on Saturday 17 June at the Action in Autism Centre, 74 Keal Road, Durban. Danielle Bussy and Tristan Daly will present their research to the group: 'The Internet and Social Networking Sites as a form of Communication for young adults with ASD,' and 'The Impact of Autism on the Family'. Talk on Sleep Disturbances - 8 September

Jane Ansell from Sleep Scotland has returned to Durban and is offering our constituency a wonderful opportunity for insight into how to address sleep disturbances with our autistic children. High Tea Fundraiser

To commemorate Women's Month, Action in Autism will be holding a High Tea Fundraiser on Saturday 13 August at the George Campbell School Hall from 2pm to 5pm. Come and join the Mad Hatter Tea Party, with delicious treats, goodie bags and a prize for the best hat. Tickets cost R150, and the event is free to single moms, and those mothers who have more than on child on the Autism spectrum. More details and an invitation to follow later this week.
